Finding Her Perfect Fit
Every brand fits a little differently, so we size by her measurements, not her age. Grab a soft tape measure, match her numbers to the chart, then check the brand notes below before you order.

Chest, waist and hips over light clothing. Height without shoes.
02 · Use her largest number
If her chest says 10 and hips say 12, order the 12.
03 · Between sizes? Size up
She’ll grow into it, and a little room is easier than too snug.

How Our Brands Fit
Letter sizes don’t mean the same thing everywhere. A LoveShackFancy L is a 10, while a KatieJ L is a 12. When a brand gives both, order by the number.

Slim, fitted cut. Size up one, especially dresses and fitted tees. Use the KatieJ charts above.

Girls letters run one step ahead: 8 = M, 10 = L, 12 = XL, 14 = XXL. Order by the number.
ZimmermannRuns large
Kids sized by age: 8 · 10 · 12
Generous, roomy cut. If she’s between sizes, take the smaller one. Kids sizing ends at 12; after that she moves to women’s.
Aviator NationRelaxed
Kids 8–14 (unisex) · Women’s XS–L
Roomy sweatshirts and hoodies. Some sweatpants fit snug through the leg, so size up if she likes them slouchy. Past a 14, she moves into women’s.
Lola + The BoysTrue to size
Kids 6–14
Size matches age (a size 8 fits about an 8-year-old). Between sizes, go up one.
DL1961Order by waist
Girls 7–16
Stretch denim with a close fit. Match her waist measurement first, then check the hips.
How to Measure
Use a soft tape, keep it level and snug but not tight. Have her stand relaxed with arms down.
